    Polishing metal flake

Looking to polish my 2021 steel with silver 721 pro xp. It looks like it's starting to oxidize and just want to know what guys and gals are using to spruce it up and get that showroom shine back. No major scratches but a few very light ones from a shrub. I have a d/a polisher but want to know what pads and compounds are best for the job. I keep it clean and waxed but time is starting to take its toll. Any advice would greatly be appreciated.

We like Meguiars MGM 3 for light oxidation. You can try different grits of 3M Finesse It also

I recently brought back an oxidized boat by using Meguiar’s 83 polish on the worst spots, followed by Meguiar’s Swirl Remover on the entire boat and then I waxed it. I did these steps by hand, since it was not oxidized too badly. It was not worth getting a buffer out of the drawer and cleaning whatever mess I made with the buffer.

Always start with least abrasive to most. I'd try an all in one polish with a white pad, if that doesn't work go to an orange pad. If you need more a wool pad with cutting compound followed by a polish will be your next step.
