Points in Juniper always hold a lot of fish. Didn't fish there last year but did a lot the year before. Jigs and Tx rig in watermelon did the trick for me on and around the points and working into the small coves.
its a little early and the lake is high right now i like lucky craft lipless or rattel traps in 8 to 15 feet on humps in blue/chrome or blue herring watermelon/chartruse power lizards in the back of juniper it seems to turn on first or try the mouth of towash for samllies smal finess jigs in blk/blue and crawdad. ive done real good on whitney in the past winning several big tournaments. with the biggest one coming in 2005 when i won the fun and sun paid me a sketer boat. and placed in the top five several times. dont be afraid to fish to pitch a lizard right up on the bank in any brush that is laying in the waters edge! GOOD LUCK![]()
Thanks everyone for the help, I have also caught some keepers off the point from Cedar Creek towards the main lake area on cranks. Thanks again
