2004-07 Envinrude problems?

Im loking for a used boat and have found many of them with Evinrude h.o or etecs. The model years have varied bw 2004 and 2007. I have heard there have been many problems during this time with these engines. I have never owned an Evinrude. Can anyone shed some more light on this for me?

Awesome Motors never a issue with mine. And it flat out flyes.

If any of them had an issue model year wise it would be the 1999-2001 models prior to to BRP's purchase of OMC.
