    Garmin install and SD cards

Going from 2 older Lowrance units to for Echomap 106sv units, 2 at console and 2 at the bow with one dedicated to Livescope, does each unit need to have its own SD card inserted or can the share 1 off the network?
this is all new to me so I’m trying to figure it out and make sure I have everything set up correctly.

Only one ActiveCaptain card per system (linked via ethernet) is needed. Same for accessory mapping cards. Both are shared over ethernet.

Also any screen shots taken, or QD contour recording, from any of the units networked, will be saved on that one card.

Thank you for the information. I’m excited to get the boat out this weekend and try out the new 4 Garmin 106sv setup.
