hey guy's I am thinking about a possible trip this winter to either choke canyon or falcon. Can any of you recommend a good guide? and what would be a good time I was thinking January or February ? I have a feeling we are going to be in for a long winter up here this year and was thinking I would break it up with a trip somewhere.

The middle of January to the fist couple of weeks of February are hawg time on Falcon. A good guide will be able to put you on some 8, 9 and 10 pounders around then.

Both Choke Canyon and Falcon are doing great and only will continue to get better. I love this time of the year when I am not touring and can concentrate on my home waters.
