Brownwood? Any bites happening?

Hey guys Im headed to Brownwood for the weekend with the wife and 4 year old. Would love to put them on some perch, crappie, whites or bass or something. Hows the bite been? Any areas you reccommend? Catching anything with minnows? Thanks in advance!
