Medina Lake?

Anyone have advice for a newbie going to Medina Lake? Probably fishing it mid-July, then again in September.

I haven't fished there since last Fall. It's almost not worth going to in the summer. There are usually too many ski boats runing around to fish comfortably. The fishing really isn't that great anytime. It's a beautiful lake, but it's not worth a long drive. If you happen to be passing by, it might be worth the stop, but I won't go out of my way to fish there. If you insist on fishing there I can give you some info that might help, but you'd probably be better off going somewhere else.

I lived on Medina Lake many years ago and there have never been many fishermen on it. I don't really know why, but no one fishes it. It's mostly a recreation lake -- lots of skiers, jet skis, etc. I lived in that area for several years and never even heard stories of people fishing there. Lots of people fish lakes around there, but not there.
