Two pots of coffee so help yourself. Turn the pots off when you finish, I'm heading for Louisiana today.

The federal government just started that. Linda just got the word about surrendering the check and if she donates it she has to pay the government what she would have got. Thanks for the
Johnny.

No thanks ... I got to appear in front of one of those when I was about 23 for roughing a guy up a little and putting him in the hospital. Luckily for me, I was the one that filed the assult charges. I stood there and waited for him to throw the first punch ... haven't really ever figured out if that was the smart thing to do or not.Definitely realized that I never wanted to be a defendant appearing before them. Also something about that 6 months deal kinda cooled the idea of serving on one too.
This guy and some of his buddies had waited in an arcade parking lot and ganged up on my younger brother a year before and sent him to the emergancy room after my brother had pushed this guy around for harassing our sister. I had just been giving him the eye every time I would see him after that. Guess I finally pizzed him offKinda like shaking a jig in a basses face ...

Always figured you for an instigator Reggie. Can't believe you guys have to surrender your jury duty check. I especially can't believe that the govt would confiscate it. One entity pays you to serve so another one can take it away from you? That just makes no sense at all.

Well, I'd rather have my day's pay at the office than the puny check the county gives you for serving - what is it now, $10.00??? I remember when it was $6.00.
Did you ever stop to think....and forget to start again?
Johnny---sense when did any government make any sense. They all live in a different tree than the rest of us.![]()
The small amount of money you make for jury duty doesn't even cover the gas or the parking in most places. For a company to expect you to turn that in is absolutely ridiculous. If it's your civic responsiblity to serve, the law should be that your company pays for your time off and all your expenses are covered. Anything else....![]()
