Steve here is a local weather station http://www.kxxv.com/ . It is a central Texas area site but Fork is only 2 1/2 hour drive from here. The weather looks good for your visit.

I bought a Hot Spots map which looks like it will help a little. I like the thrill of the hunt but I want my dad to really enjoy this trip. I'm so excited to get out of Illinois man!

Lake Fork tackle is in Emory. To get there from where you'll be just drive west on 515 and when you come to the first stop sign, you're there. About 20 miles. Brookshire's grocery store on one side, Lake Fork Tackle on the other.
Yamamoto's place is in Mineola, I think, and I have never been to his store. Maybe some one else can help you there.

It's a pretty fair sized building. To be honest, I've been by there 50 times and only stopped in once a few years ago. Mostly soft plastics for sale if I remember right. But I can tell you that Mark Pack makes some good baits!
