    Re: Amistad bound (Chris Brewton)

    Chris I'm leaving thur morning.

I'll be in an all white with black arrow 21x2.

Probably wear my cowboy hat unless the wind picks up.

I'll probably launch from the airforce ramp.

    Fishing tx sat-sun.

Good luck on catching a pig.

    Maybe we'll see you there.

    Re: Amistad bound (katyag)

Guys,,, I hope you have rooms already. Every motel around the lake is 100% booked up this weekend. there is some big National bass club type tournament going on there this weekend.

the reports I got today are that some people aren't even gettting bit. while some are still catching them. The fish have done their thing and moved off the beds from 6 to the river end markers. You might do best fishing the Rain God area now. That is always the last place the fish spawn.

I hear you have to take a number to fish in Evans and Castle. The bass were bedding big time in there last weekend.

Be sure and fish the ditches and target post spawn fish.

    Re: Amistad bound (challenger198)

We caught some bigger fish (4-8.5lbs) Early up into 0930 in 4-6 water
After that the fish moved off deep and we went sight fishin. Nothing lke catchin a buck off a bed in18 ft f water
AMAZING. I really enjoyed myself down there and we had one team in our club which had a 1 day total of 35lbs. My biggest day was 16.5....but was alot of fun!
The lake got NASTY with the wind though

We are headed down next tuesday for 10 days of fishing. Hopefully the new moon in april will be hot. From a couple of guys I talked to (yesterday) there are still lots of females coming up. Its going to be fun
