Is it normal to see water coming out of the exhaust (just below the cowl) when idling? I did not notice much last year when i used it? I ran it yesterday for an hour. last time was October 30th this past year. I had it at 5600rpms and running 63 on my 362V ranger. It idles fine and holeshot was good as well as not hesitation at w.o.t. I did notice what i believe to be oil coming out of the lower unit. I smelled it and it appears to be just oil from the injection and not lower gear oil coming out of the exhaust. Is there anything else i should do to it? I am replacing the gas primer bulb and thought about replacing all the gas lines. What is the BRP part number for the water pump and housing?

How much water? Alot?

Seems like on my 70 OMC when I took the thermostat out, I had more water come out there. I don't recall on my Gt175, but on my loopers if water comes out, its very little.

It is not alot but i dont recall that much last summer. I wanted to be sure it was not the exhaust gasket or something going bad. As far as i know the thermostats are in there. Would it be wise to check and replace them? I know the 2nd before owner before me had the vro pump repaced three years ago (replacing the original one)

It is normal, water pump kit p/n is 5001594 T'stats are p/n 5005440.
