Faststrike Prop?

I have a 91 Ranger 482 with 150 Fastsike and was wondering in your guys opinion what is the best prop for this set up, I use the boat for bass fishing only and this is my second Faststrike and my first one had a 4 blade stainless on it, but i do not remember the pitch, but it would get out of the hole with two guys and gear like a dream and run out around 60 if I remember right. So just looking for a little input from you guys to see what is recomended, because I would like the same jump out of the hole and top end at 60 works, because most of the lakes I fish are 3000 acres or less......thanks guys!

The Renegade 23 usually works well with the 150 Fastrikes and carry a load also.

The boat does have a manual jackplate also.

the renegade prop is a 4 blade prop, 4 blades generally give a better holeshot...

Any idea what top end would be with that prop and the set up I have?

I have a 96 Stratos 288 with a Faststrike. It came with a 25p 4 blade shooter. It gets out of the hole great plus runs 60 with 2 fatboys.

My nephew had a 201 Stratos with a 150 Fastrike.Was a little slow outta tha hole, but it was a 20 footer, it would tool along around low 50's wot 59-6000 rpms with the 23 Gade.

Mine will run about 61 with a 23p gade. I think there are better choices though.

Try a 23p Tempest. You can swap around the PVS plugs and change how it comes out of the hole. The large diameter and blade area help it carry a load well.

Also my brother in law has a Ranger with a 150, and he really likes my 25p gade. He says he doesn't have to trim it all the way down to come out of the hole ( me too), and his gets out pretty good with a 24p raker. His has no jack either.

I also have a 24p turbo, and it is my best hole shot prop by far. Its an older style, and I might be able to get 63gps out of it, but as far as having good manners, and doing everything well, its a great prop. I really want to B&B it and see what it runs like.

I have a 24 P raker on my 150 Intruder with a Javelin 379. I get out of the hole pretty well with a FULL load and topped out last year at 64.7 on GPS. I am having the prop rebuilt so I am hoping for a little better mph.
