    Amistad Air Force Annex ??

    does any body know about making reservations at the Air Force Base Marina At Amistad?

    You might be able to get space-A lodging on-base. I'd give that a try too. I don't know the # there, but if you are near a DSN phone, you can get the operator to connect you.

    I've been thinking about making a trip to Amistad too. If you find anything out, could you let us know?

    My wife has the number to that Marina for booking their cabin's. They have 4 units there at the marina and lunch area. They go for around $35 a night but you have to funish your own linen. The above number sounds right. You have to be active or retired military to book one.

    I believe they open up reservations 60 days in advance. Not that it makes a difference, but there is no TV in the room. I ended up having the son bring his own DVD player to keep him entertained (for 15-20 minutes before he fell asleep). The cooking utensils supplied were very basic. The cabins are small but adequate. Have fun

    If I remember it was 60 day's for retirees and 30 day's active.
