I currently have an 1198c with a 10.5” display on my bow. I’m looking at upgrading to an ultrex and was wondering if the MDI would work on my 1198 or if I need to upgrade it to something better/newer.
I currently have an 1198c with a 10.5” display on my bow. I’m looking at upgrading to an ultrex and was wondering if the MDI would work on my 1198 or if I need to upgrade it to something better/newer.
The 1198 does not have Down Imaging, does not have the MEGA Imaging frequency, and does not have HW CHIRP 2D sonar.
The Minnkota MDI transducer does HW CHIRP, and 455/800/1200 kHz Down Imaging.
