BBC Member (marine stationed @ MCAS Beaufort) needs help Santee or Cooper River

BBC member Goober is a US Marine stationed @ MCAS Beaufort. Hes been trying to fish the Savannah River and its just real tough right now. I am referring him to what I know as to be some of the best SC fishing around in the Cooper River and Santee and the BBC guys that fish it. If one of you guys could hook him up and get him a fishing trip in yalls area it would much appreciated. He does have his own boat so he is just looking to learn where to fish without tearing his equipment up.

Thanks guys. I know these guys, I fished the ABA with them year before last, didn't fish the ABA last year due to being deployed. I drew Cheese for a tournament and he is a great guy.

Haven't talked to them in a while though.

Also, try the two ponds on the air station, they have some good bass in them, and you can put ur boat in them believe it or not.
But watch for the gators, they get real nosey.

Recon - yes I have, caught a nice 3lber out of there last month.

Well, if your not deployed or PCS'd out of there, consider fishing the BFL as a co-angler next year. When I was at PI, me and some others did that and you'll learn the SC lakes and meet some pretty darn good fish catchers.

No not retiring just getting out. Been in 8, time for something new.

You better think hard on that decision, before you shoot yourself in the foot. At least stay in the reserves if you do punch out.

Any way, went to Santee and met JimmyE, great guy.
Ended up only catching two for the day but well worth the trip.

What he is too polite to tell you is that I and two others in my boat fished the point he caught that fish on two minutes before him with the same bait, he caught the fish. Nice fish.
