How about a change of Venue for the MINI?

Would anybody consider a change of scene to Clarks Hill for the mini?? The on lake places to stay at Murray won't accomodate more than 30 at best but,,,doing some surfing I found Hickory Knob State park on the hill that may just be what the Dr. Ordered good accomodations at a reasonable price, a golf course on site. restaurant on-site and boat docks. Looks like there are 3 sets of motel sections at a very reasonable rate per night.

Hey CM, have stayed at HK and they have cabins as well as motel rooms..all good and great place for a get-a-way. Lots of wildlife, peaceful and you can fish all day without seeing anyone

Just want to make it easy for the Low Country crowd too. Not many easterners post here but they sure are welcome. I'll let the poll run until after the first of the year and decide. Santee SP looks like a good place too and they have cabins on the H20. We just need a place to I can fire up the grill and deep fry a turkey and smoke a brisket!
