BAIT Trail Russell 12/12

Thanks to both GA1 & SC1 Div.'s for holding their tx's together yesterday at 72 ramp and CM for those fine treats at weigh-in. Think there were 26 or 27 teams total with several fishing both tx's. Fishing was tough; wt's 53-55 with 13 lbs winning 1 tx and 10.53 winning the other.
Not much talk at weigh-in but we caught ours 37-47' and hit about 8 places before getting any to bite...you could find them..but they would not eat..we found 1 place active and caught about 25..culling an ounce here and there. light tackle, 4 and 5" worms 3/8 & 1/2 oz wt. Some spoon fish too..but better fish on worms.
1st in 1 & 2nd in the other...kind of like good results after atough day Would think the next couple of weeks might be real good with mix of perch/LM/spots/stripers as wt's cool.
