    wanting to fish marion

    me an a couple fishing partners are thinking of going down the end feb. begining of march. can u recomend any good landings any fishing areas
    any help will be greatly appreciated

    I don't think you can get to Marion from there. John C. Land III Boating and Sportfishing Facility is nice and just off I-95. Big parking lot and no fee launch. But don't follow the directions you get off the internet, it will take you to the dam. When you get closer to time email me and I will give you a map. It is about 45 minutes from Orangeburg, closer to Manning and Summerton.

    Hardcore meant to say Santee State Park I bet. Check that place out John C is a good landing. Jacks Creek all in that same area is good fishing.

    Black's Camp. middle ways down the canal, if your thinking of bed fishing, the bigger females start to move up towards the 2nd or 3rd week of April, giving the moon phase is right.
