Going next weekend for our annual Spring tournament. Ask me after that and I will be glad to share. Center Hill can be red hot, but many refer to it as the Dead Sea![]()
It's a very deep and very clear lake. I fish this lake many times during the summer. Like mentioned it can be hot or cold. The points seem to be the big producers as well as around the boat docks. Last I heard they were hitting spinner baits. When I was up yestarday the water was 52-56 Degrees and very clean. That might change in the next couple of days with the weather coming in. A very pretty lake.
If the water temps are hitting 55 you might be finding the crank bait good. I know a lot of guys that hit it with cranks and a lot will be fishing shiners right now. Good time to be on the lake for smallies. Can't help ya much with largemouth.
Boatless Bank Trash for now
Center Hill is up 6 feet and still rising since Monday.
Almost back up to normal summer pool (pre-dam work). They will drop is as fast as they can.![]()
Throw a spinnerbait in the flooded grass on a muddy bank to catch Kentuckies. Cover lots of water, stay in the shade, and keep moving. Green and brown fish are few and far between. Winners had a 2 day total of 25+ lbs of Kentuckies with 3.98 big fish the first day. Day 2 big fish was 4.27 largemouth, the only one weighed on day 2.
Oh yeah, you already knew all that. But I know somebody else was waiting for this response. The water is dropping, so it won't last.
