    fogging an etec

I know how to do the winterization process for my ETEC, but had a question. Since all I do is add 2+4 (i think that is what it is) to my gas and do the process, how do the cylinder get fogged? Just by the conditioner and gas or am I missing something?

I am far from an expert. You may be able to get a more detailed explanation. Here is my version:

Obviously the cylinder walls need lubrication when the engine is running. When you run the winterization process, I would say the ECM signals the oil injection system to dramatically increase the amount of oil it injects. If enough oil is injected, it cannot all be burned and coats the inside of the engine.

E tecs do not need fogged. Check your manual they do this automaticly by following instructions. That is what the hose port on back of engine is for They add extra xd 100 oil

it simply adds more oil than normal to coat the inside.
