Anyone know of a nice cheap place to rent on Norris Lake. I took the wife down last year and stayed at my Uncle's place on Big Creek and she fell in love with the lake. He sold his place and now she wants to go back. Plan on heading down in July or August and looking for a lake front place with a dock or a floating house for a couple. Everything I find is outrageously expensive or for 10 people. Any help is appreciated.

Try Flat Hollow Resort.com or Powell Valley Resort.com. They are on the Powell river side. Flat Hollow is upscale, Powell Valley more blue collar.Both are good places. Chuck <><
Flat hollow is nice and good fishing in the area, but you are going to pay big bucks there. It has sure changed in the last 10 years.
It sure has changed! I remember going there in the early '70s when the Kilgores ran it and most of the Ky. people there were form Pike County.Lots of good memories. Chuck <><
