Blowed up HO still not fixed...

called the dealer 10 days ago and he said block and parts were in for my warranty work... said it would be done in a week... we cut vacation short hoping to get a few days in before I had to go back to work... called him and he said I was not a priority and that it would be a few weeks...
    4 weeks now...
    Big fun...

I believe Todd Morgan said he would had you up and running in 2 days, along with a Loaner boat to use while you waited.

He would have just told me the wrong thing, my boat would be out of there and he could put the parts where the sun don't shine.........you need to find another dealer.

I don't know the whole story of your motor but you might call the BRP consumer help desk and see what they can do for you 1-847-689-7090. Priority or not that is too long for warranty work. Drop me a line at wulf359@yahoo.com with your dealer and engine model and serial number. I moght be able to get the Evinrude Rep in the area to step in. Hope this helps.

Tech services has been involved already the parts are on site at the dealers. There is no BRP rep for that area of NY. The dealer is in the middle of winterizing season. End of story.

Re: Blowed up HO still not fixed... (ChampioNman)

Champion says it all... this guy is the only guy for a long ways... 2 other great places that have done work for me both went under... pretty cool I don't even have a rep for my area.. SOL...
yes, todd said he would fix it... 2000 mile towing round trip and 40 hours sitting in my truck... throw in expenses and I'm looking at a grand just to get my motor fixed in a timely fashion... will not make the long distance boat purchase again...
I bought this motor so I wouldn't have this problem... figured the biggest baddest most advanced outboard that cost more than alot of cars would keep me in the game... getting stranded on Champlain 3 times is not in the game...
Now I gotta sell this thing... Can't keep fishing tournaments knowing it could strand me at any moment... The amount of money I'm gonna lose on this will be staggering... I'm gonna be out of the big boat, big motor game... been a disaster since day one...
yesterday I gave away all my evinrude shirts and hats I used to wear at the Stren and BFLs...
