    I-Command Gages, Cold Temperature Issues.

Just did a search on the site regarding I-Command gages, and came up with a few issues, but not the one I discovered. Basically love the gages, but now that winter is approaching, have discovered a major flaw.

They don't operate in the cold. At just under 40 degrees, it took 5 minutes for the gages to become visable. Just white circles with no markings whatsoever.
At 29 degrees it took over 20 minutes for the gages to become operational.

Called BRP Customer Service. The technician said BRP was aware of the problem, and was working on it. Could or would not comment on any potential fix.

Up where I live most boats operate until the lake freezes, so this is a fairly serious issue for me. I sure hope they come up with a fix.

Just thought I'd post this information, so someone else does not get a big surprise next fall.

Think the DNR frowns on that. I'd love a covered boathouse to keep the snow and frost off. But look at the bright side. No mosquitoes!
