I have heard various people talking about Ken Penrod's Tidal Potomac River Bible. Never saw one since it is out of print but anyway, I saw that he is soon to be releasing his next Tidal Potomac River book. It is going to be entitled, "The Tidal Potomac River Bible II: The New Testament."
Anyone think this will be a worthwhile purchase?

Who needs Kens bible when we have is Pope ( AKA coldheart )
I can say that it will be a good book with alot of info. His books have always been that way.
When I hit bass fishing and the Potomac 10 years ago his book was really helpful to me. You would have to be a waterboarding CIA type to get information like this out of anyone else.

I'm almost surprised to hear this.
From what I've heard, Mr. Penrod isn't very fond of all the tournaments that the Potomac hosts. I would think the bulk of the people who buy his books are tournament folk.
I have one of his old books. Gotta say, what I really like about it is the way he incorporates river history into everything. Lots of interesting stuff.

There are still some copys of Ken's "Tidal Potomac River Bible" available on Amazon if you got $200 for a used or $220.00 for a new copy!!!!!!! WOW this must of had some reeeeeally good info.
[ A buck is a buck! If he can hock that rag to TX folks and line his pocket he will. For those of you that haven't had the opportunity to meet Mr. Ken, your in for a real treat!!!
I don't know what your trying to say here Mike But I've known Mr. ken for meny years & talked to him quite a few time years ago He's allways been helpful and nice to talk to.
You got to be kiddin me..$200 for a Penrod book. Ken obviously has never read the Bible,,
I thought it was a mis-print. I would have gladly paid $20.00. I guess I'll wiat for the new edition due out shortly.
I can tell you that Ken is not the person selling them for 200 on e-bay/ Amazon. He is out of them and when word got out someone decided that they would try to make a profit.
