Gunny's Trip so far

Well we finally got to fish Sunday after noon. The sun was out and I got lessons of how to fish a frog. Gunny had 2 nice fish and a real good one. After 4 hours I finally got 2 keepers.

Monday I put the slam to them (and Gunny ). Everything was different than the day before. Nothing worked that was working the day before. I had some really nice LM and SM. Gunny was whining something about being back seated!!!!! Goose you know how that is right?

Today apparently he slammed them but I wasn't there to witness it. I'm sure the fishing will get better this week with the addition of the sun!

Sure did, 12" smallmouths are abundant there. The bigger one was 14" I had another 15" lm in the box. I tried to get a deep water bite Mike, but that place is tough tough tough for deep water. I even talked to some of DC's buddies at the tackle store and they said the same thing, deep water and bigger fish is tough. So you have to beat the smallmouth up. Got lucky and found a few largemouth but not many.

How are your eardrums D/C? I can imagine all the chatter comming from the rear deck - musta driven you NUTS.
Ok, glad you guys had some fun. One of these days I'm gonna make a trip out there, just for the smallies.
