Need a Non-Boater for 3/29/08 Potomac River & 4/12/08 Lake Anna ABA Tourney's

are you telling me that you now have to provide your own non-boater to fish these trails as a captain or are you looking for a non-boater partner? If it the first comment that is lame, Is this the new age bass fishermen, in it for the money...hell you'll spend more in fees/ramp/fuel/food than you will win...or maybe break even...

it is pretty simple, do you need to provide your own partner or do you have to provide a non-boater to assure you can go as captain,, is this because everyone wants to be a captain?

What ABA is doing with this is you get a guaranteed boater slot if you sign up with a non. By doing this it saves from having 200 boats show up and 50 having to leave their boats at the ramp because of not having enough nons to fish with. We have talked to the Owner of ABA about this and are hoping they go to a format that lets all boaters use their boats if you bring them and let the nons fill as many boats as they can. Here on the east coast you have more boaters than nons but in other locations they have more nons from what I have been told. I am an assistant director here in Va. an dhoping they make some changes in the coming year or so....Go to the ABA website and post your opinnions there and help get these rules "updated"
