    250 ProXS powerhead torque specs/sequence

    Anybody have a 250 ProXS service manual? I believe it's part# 8M0122849
I'm looking for the powerhead torque values and sequence.

Thanks Savage. I actually did use the "working" search tool. I had read that there were several different torque values/sequences for all the models so just wanted to be 100% sure.
    Cheers

I searched quite a bit on this, would this apply to my engine? Its a 2013 250 pro xs, sn#1B964386. I'm replacing the exhaust plate and i'm about ready to put it back together.

Just got off the phone with mercury, they said #1 snug them, #2-25ft lbs, #3 50-ft lbs on all the nuts. I asked about the torque adapter and also about using less torque on nuts 9 & 10. He didnt know anything about that. He said he was reading it right out of the service manual.
I called a local mercury dealer and asked them, they said they mercury used to not torque 9 & 10 as much as the rest of them but then changed it back to all torqued equally. Anyone else have any input? Not sure how to get in touch with Don, but apparently he is the man. How can i message him?

I would use the torque specs listed in the link that Savage posted.

Follow the suggestions in the link at Post #2.

Whomever you spoke with provided you with incorrect torque specifications for your ProXS engine (period).
