Question YDS diagnostic port Location - SHO 250

I was wondering where is the location of the YDS Diagnostic port for the Yamaha cable software?

    I have a 2014 F250 SHO..

The only plug I do see that would fit is on the port side, black plug tape on it with fishing line lopped on it..

Thanks again !! Happy Holidays ..

Grey plug with a line hooked to it on port front will be it.
Yds 1.33 will only work on engines thru 2011.

Don't forget to reinstall the cap. It has a jumper wire in it that needs to be connected.

Well I found out why you need the jumper. I have the cable for the YDS Diagnostic so I ran it from the motor to the boat insode. This way I could run it at any time but it did not have the jumper connected.
Well all is well until you get above 4500-5000 RPM then the motor just stops running. Jumper is in now and she runs normal. Just some info.

I know this is an old thread, but where can I buy a diagnostic cable for my 2012 SHO? Also, is the 1.33 software compatible?
    thanks

I bought this one. It worked on my 2011 SHO so should work on your 2012.

I bought that one too, it will not plug into mine. It has a 4 pin connector, even though it appears to only be using two pins. I tried connecting it to the same connector that goes to me NMEA buss.
    Is that the correct connector?

The photo shows the Yamaha Command Link connection port. For connection to an NEMA 2000 device.

Completely different from the gray three pin diagnostic connector.

Dammit, I already returned that kit from ebay. Can you help me locate the gray connector on the engine? I've looked a few times
    and cannot find it.
    thank you
