Ok took my new trolling motor out and pinched a wire for the transducer and broke it is it hard to replace or is it ok to slpice it?

Where did you pinch it? Isn't it a short wire hanging out of the bottom of the head with a connector to the longer extension? That's how mine is. I don't use it, so I just disconnected it and tucked it up into the head.

I did the same thing when installing my ultrex motor last week. I spliced them together but it was a pain in the ass. I couldn't find anywhere that sold just that cable. There are 4 wires, #22 awg. They need to stay in pairs. Black and red and yellow and I forget the other color. After I spliced them, I wrapped the pairs in aluminum foil and then heat shrinked the splices/aluminum foil wraps. I won't know for sure if it works until I get on the water, which I hope its this weekend. I'll let you know the outcome.

Thanks guys for getting back to me. After the wire goes in the head does it run directly to the US2 or is there another connection before it gets there?
It got cut about foot and a half below the head. The wire is actually pretty long before it connects to the adapter.

In the head is a connector to join the extension cable to the cable of the US@. Look in the owners Manual and get the part number there. Find your S/N and call Minn Kota for a new one.

There’s a connection in the head. There’s 4 screws in the bottom of the cover.
