Hi I have a E175TLCCM serial numbers R1822543
Can anyone tell me how old this motor is and what kind of prop horse power it puts out ? I am pretty sure it is a cross flow but it does have a exhaust dome on it. I am looking a replaceing a power head more than likely or parting it out. It made a awfull scraping noise lost power and pretty much died. I know it did not blow a rod I thinking it was either a broken crank or the top crank bearing went out. All I know at this point is the fly wheel has alot of side to side play. The motor ran great up till then I mean really good best starting engine I ever had Idled great lots of good power. anyhow just weighing up my options. I am capable of putting on a new short block myself. If it is bad are there any parts that will work on my 1991 GT 150. THanks Jim
