    Bass clubs near Altus, OK

    Hi ya'll,

    I posted this on the main but figured I'd try this one too. Anyway, longtime reader short time poster here, but was wondering if anybody knows of any other Bass clubs around the Altus, OK area. I've got a buddy moving out there at the end of the year and he is looking for a club to join. I told him about this site and he has emailed the one listed near Hobart but hasn't heard anything from them yet. So if there any others that would be close to this area we sure would appreciate it.

    Altus AFB has a group of guys who put on some tournaments. Not sure whether or not they actually have club meetings. Me and Sarge actually fished a couple of their opens. I know this is probably going to come out wrong but they really aren't what I'd call a competitive club. They are some good guys, but we kinda felt bad taking their money. There is a good club I belong to at Ft. Sill which is about 50 miles east of Altus in Lawton. We meet the first tuesday of everymonth. Drop me an IM for more info

    I found it doing a search on the net. look up the bass zone and then the oklahoma tx schedhules and you should find it there
