Me and wife saw a Bald Eagle on our 2 mile walk. It was less than a block from the house. Cool Birds. He was overlooking the Ohio river.

We have a resident pair here on my home lake of Carr creek. Beautiful birds and the best fishermen on the lake. Awesome to see them swoop down and grab a fish.

we have about a dozen nests we keep an eye on all within an hour from the house. 5 of them are within 15-20 minutes. we watched 3 pairs raise eaglets last year, all 3 of them hatched 2 eggs.. Amazing birds for sure

Some mistake an Osprey as an eagle. We have alot of both around me
Eagles and Osprey nest near each other, and from a distance, look alike. Main visual difference is an ospreys chest is white all the way down.

Saw one on Lanier when marshaling on the Elites back in 2019, came out of a tree and flew right over us.

When I worked at the nuke plant in Toledo there was a pair that nested on the property, there was a telescope setup on the top floor so you could see into the nest and observe the chicks.

See several on Table Rock especially in the winter. I saw a couple eating on a big gar carcus that a bow hunter threw on a gravel bank

Cool thrill to see one even though they are a more common sight. Always able to get your attention.

Eagles are such an impressive bird, you don't realize how big they are till you see one up close and personal... or until they swoop down at dusk to pick up a dead kokanee about 4 feet away from you.. at dusk.. and scare the shit right out of you! Haha I'm blessed to live in an area where there is a huge resident population, and in winter the population triples... if you keep an eye out its amazing how many are around northwest Montana and North Idaho

Hunt in ky lake particularly the east bank. They are thick as rats. Aside from there I’ve seen a nesting pair on the rolling fork in kentucky and 1 near the Casino here in louisville
