Sad news about Goose

Goose passed away yesterday. I just wanted to let you NC guys know. He loved fishing the Smokie Mountain Rally with you. Keep him in your prayers. - DC

Tentatively we will be having a memorial service for Goose in Berkeley Springs, WV March 3rd or 10th. I will post details when I have them. Thanks. - DC

Hi my name is John (Goose) Schriner I'm now retired dew to my health also I'm
a DAV from the navy(81 - 85) I enjoy the two greatest things in life Fishing &
Hunting been doing them all my life. I consider myself as a good fisherman (of
all species ) and a fair hunter I've won a few turn. on lake Anna Va. & Potomac
river in Md. I've fished all over the US & us to spend 4 weeks a year in Canada
for about 12 years holding the camp records for both largest Walleye and largest
Northern pike on Upper Ottawa River in Rapt-ed 7 Quebec near Val-dOr I've got a
87 Cajun 185 / mariner 150 that I am restoring right now for dew to my health
it has sat (un covered) for the last 4-5 years put the motor still runs good
And it's most cosmetics My health is get under control (knock on wood) and i hope to be able to get in the water by spring as for turn. fishing I'll have to see I can't stand along time I thing I'm just to fat I need to lose about 100-150 lb. then maybe
I can move around better
I was married once young had two children one boy John jr. one girl Adrian ( then
the big De ) I raised them myself from ages 9-18 They didn't want to live with there mom so I got lucky they came to live with me. I enjoy the fellowship here at
BBC so far I have seemed to have become an addict I hope to be able to meet even fish with as many of you all that can put up with me I promise not to get mad even if you CAN out fish me (and I said CAN )
