My friend has a 1989 Johnson 150 gt v6. He ran it out of the water and he said it was fine. When he puts it in the water the boat has a loss of power and will not idol. Going down the lake at first it will only push 2900Rpm. If someone goes to the front of the boat it will SLOWLY SLOWLY plain out and get up to about 3600rpm. All coils are working, new gas, and new power pack. The last time it worked right he said it felt like it was starting to loss power.
