Posting this on the CATT site tonight...
20 teams scattered over Lake Norman this past Saturday looking for that limit we all shoot for on tournament day. No doubt the bass are on the move with the cooler air temps. It’s just a matter of making the move with them which is much easier said than done.
CATT may also be on the move this coming winter on Lake Norman. We’ve had several anglers ask about a winter trail on Norman and we are currently looking at doing just that. Affordable entry fee and all tournaments will be on Saturdays. More than likely we will leave from Pinnacle. We are thinking about an $80 entry fee with no membership or late fee. When and if we get it worked out info will be posted plus you will be informed at the Norman Fall Trail.
Hank Cherry and Craig Chambers weighed in a solid limit of bass at 13.58 lbs good enough for 1st and $500.00.
2nd was Matt McBee and James Parker with 5 bass weighing 10.84 lbs and they weighed in the 2nd place Big Fish at 3.81 lbs. All total they collected $335.00.
Coming in 3rd were Kenny Hoyle and Jerry Goble with a total weight of 10.65 lbs. They had the 1st place Big Fish at 4.48 lbs also. Kenny and Jerry received a total of $265.00.
Tony Shook and Michael Fox finished in 4th place with 9.92 lbs and they took home $100.00
Remember guys there is an optional side pot of $25 at each CATT event and you can take home some extra cash.
Next Norman Fall CATT is Oct 8 at Midway.
