    Adding gauges

My engines have system check gauges that show engine trim and water pressure I would like to add separate trim and water pressure gauges, do I just plug in to the system link cable and daisy chain them together.

sysm1.jpgThis is the gauge I have.

I am not sure what gauges you are describing but it sounds like you might have the Smartcraft Tach/Speedo. If you already have the proper signal for trim and water pressure then it is as easy as you say. If not then you will have to change the sensors which is neither an expensive nor difficult task.

That would be a System MONITOR (the other name is a "rude" gauge).

Yes, you can add System Link Gauges to outfit a dash with any data item your System Monitor provides. First gauge to the System Link Plug, then daisy-chain from gauge to gauge right down the line.

Recommend the later-style instruments as they are glass-faced and do not deteriorate as rapidly as previous "plastic face" versions. Rhonda can set you up with whatever you want- see her post (pinned at the top of the Forum) for email info.
