    congrats Steve Dyer

    I just saw where Steve is in 4th place at the BASS NATIONALS after day 1. I don't know him personally but am glad to see him and two other nc guys representing in the top 10

    And his doing it as a non boaterposition. had tougher day today. but still hanging in there... tomorrow will greet the fishermen with stormy weather hope his deeper bite comes on strong and the bed /shallow fishermen struggle.

    DAY 3..shortened due to pending storms........Steve made a come back has captured the top spot for the NC team and will be going on to the BIG SHOW! There are more fishermen to weigh in but as of 1:50 pm he is in 2nd place overall......

    Thanks all...was a great tourney. Water that was already 3' above summer pool rose 7 more feet over the three day event. I flipped no less than 100, 000 willow bushes I swear....

    I'ts one hell of a great fishery though with tons of the most beautiful colored big fish...anyone who has a chance should visit.
