    Rusty,do yall have hydraulic steerin kit

    Hey,thinkin about a hydraulic steering setup,1989 285 Pro,what ya think?.I went out this weekend,and I could have sworn,that I trimmed up far for fishin,then saw trim lower alot by itself,is this possible,normal?do i need too check the fluid,daaaaaaa,fluidddd yeaaaahhh daaaa,thanks semigreenhorn Rick

    We can get the hydraulic steering, its not as cheap as replacing the cables by a LONG shot, As for the trim, you should check the fluid, tilt the motor all the way up, flip the trailer bracket out, trim the motor down until the motor is supported by the bracket.

    On the right side (inside the mounting brackets) there is a slotted screw, this is the trim fluid check and fill, if fluid runs out when the screw is removed....it is full, if not.....fill it with BRP trim fluid until it runs out.

    Sorry to hear about the prop, you do know we have a place down the street that can fix them?

    Thanks for the info,Im gonna swing by the prop shop this week,I"ll give ya a holla.Thanks p.s. been in that hole 20 times,never hit nothin before,WITH A SMALLER MOTOR,Haaaaaaa
