Several of my old NBC buddies want to get a CATT Trail going on Lake Jordan. If I can get the permits we will start it up in April....

CATT on Jordan Lake? So you would fish Jordan lake every tournament? Kinda like Piedmount does on Falls? My opinion, I like a little variety.
I agree, if you rotate between Jordan, Harris, Falls, and Kerr; I think you'll get a better turnout. Too many good lakes locally to only fish one.![]()
I would be willing to look at it...got to get permits before I can do anything...this has been brewing for a while...like I said I fished the NBC Trail for years and know a few guys up that way and they are familiar with CATT...I;ve always run a trail on each lake but I have an open mind to what will work best...
I've been running CATT since 1997 and decided to expand a couple of years ago...next Feb I'll top $1 Million in cash payback...entry fee is only $80 for the Qualifiers and $120 for the Finals...the reason the money is so good is I pay back 100% of the entry fee and keep the membership and late fee...Triton Gold, Stratos 2x and much more...look at the cash paid back on these lakes in 2010...
2010 Payback Breakdown
Wateree $49,231.00
Murray $37,435.00
Santee Cooper $26,385.00
Wylie $23,530.00
Waccamaw River $14,455.00
Norman $9,085.00
2010 CATT Classic Lake Murray $16,620.00

I've got dates for Falls and Jordan so we'll make this a 2-Lake CATT Trail...got to wait and see if the dates are approved for permits...NC office is having computer problems...but looks like we may get this thing going...
Remember the entry fee is only $80 for the Qualifiers and $120 for the Final...
In 2009 at the Wateree Spring Trail we averaged 39 teams and 64 teams at the Final...paid back over $25,000.00...5 qualifiers and a Final.
The NBC Trail Capitol Division averaged around 90 teams at one time...if by luck we ever get a 90 boat average the total payback over a 6 tournament trail would be over $50,000,00.![]()
With 90 boats 1st place would be in the $3000.00 range...
1st Place at the Final with the BONUS $ added in would be between $6000.00 and $7000.00!
CATT pays back 100% of the entry fee!

Good-will wait on your dates to see how all falls out with other trails
Looking forward to them
I dodged the BFL, FOM and Peidmont...didn't know about any opens but can change a date if I have to.
Awesome... this sounds like a great event!!!

Ok guys every single person that has gotten in touch by emial or IM express interest in adding Harris...that may be hard to do...lots of tournys going on there early in the year...
Which months are best at Harris?...as of now I have the dates set fro April, May and June --Jordan & Falls
Harris is good March- December. I personally do not like carrying fish around in hot livewells. Usually August and September is the worst with regards to high water temps.
It don't matter to me as I don't catch fish there anyways..![]()

But do agree that the hotter months are tough on fish in the livewell, as if I really know!!!![]()
Early spring there is preferred..

I liked the old NBC Piedmount schedules. I think they had Harris, Falls, Jordan, Kerr and maybe Gaston. They had a good thing going.
Thats the plan nest year if we have a good trail this Spring...
