Falls Lake

Hey guys, I have an adult/ junior tournament coming up on falls lake. Can anyone give me any tips or ideas on fishing the lake techniques/ locations? I just want the junior to have a good time. I am one of the few father figures in his life and I want him to have a good experience so he will continue with the sport. I got him started into hunting with his first doe, now its time for his first bass. Any help would be appreciated. I just want him to catch fish regardless of size. I won't share any of the info provided.

There are several posts in this forum or archives concerning Falls. I would fish it just like any other lake this time of the year.. look for post spawn fish on points and around the standing timber on their way back out of the spawning flats. However I am not an expert on Falls lake.

My main suggestion for this lake is to take heavy test line. There are some bigguns in there. You and the junior are gonna have a ball.

Skidmark-I am Falls atleat 3-4 times per week. I try to avoid it on the weekends once the idiots come out. I have a red and black ranger with a merc 200. If you see me, stop by and say hello. What boat do you run and I will look for you.

right now I have a Javelin 379 F/S. Very unmistakeable. Its missing the F/S windshield. White with a burgandy stripe. I tow it with a 97 white F150. Gimme a call after next week and lets go fish'n.
