Ok I am starting to get a twitch after not fishing for two weeks. Saturday is starting to look like it may be a good day to hit the water. I am thinking about High Rock, but I am open to going anywhere just about, but I have to be home by 4:00. Does anyone want to meet up and do a "fish for fun tourney"?
I am going to try and make Saturday, haven't been lately either. High Rock's fine with me, just don't forget to bring some jigs. I am headed to Raleigh tomorrow to buy a car, so I'll see if I have a few bucks leftover for gas in the boat.
I'll have to pass on Saturday this weekend, but that's the last constraint I have till Jan 2. Our family gets together for Christmas on that day, and I think it is based around lunchtime, so I will be busy till after the 'fun' weighin.
Now if Mike brings his boat for the family get together, you may well find us around the sailing club 'bout 4. We'd be checking out the boat, of course....

How about Salem Lake, Sat. Opens at 9am and I have to be off water by 1:30ish. If we are catching fish....I can cancel that appt. come one come all.

I would do Salem sometime, but having to remove my prop to put in there doesn't seem right
The problem with Salem Lake is they make me pull my prop off. I also have a new rod to try maybe two if it gets here in time and want to fish some familiar structure.
One of the guys that manages Salem Lake is on the board here.. I will remember his name eventually, maybe we should lobby for a change.
My official event does not start till 2PM so I will be out on the point waving to those that go by...

Those are some nice ones. I have seen some big ones on beds when I was on the hiking trail before I started back bass fishing. The problem with pulling the prop off my boat right now is loading it back on the trailer without getting wet.
It is looking like I am not going to be hitting the water today. I feel like I am coming down with somethingI hope not; I was sick last Christmas too

horny toads... didn't matter what color. We used white, black and green pumpkin... throwin them over the dead grass and buzzing over beds... they couldn't stand it!! Lost count on how many came off getting hung up in the grass. 10 at least. Looking forward to April 22nd, 2008... last year was the same just forgot the camera!

Man, hope you are feeling better. It's a real bummer to be off all this time and feel bad. I have not had this much time off in years, I am really looking foward to enjoying it.
Let's set up a mid week gittogether minus rain, see who shows up. Monday might work if the weather will cooperate, or any day(s) this week. Any lake. Notice the day(s) is plurual !!

As of right now I am planning on being on High Rock Monday. I do think I am coming down with a cold, but I am starting to feel some better this afternoon. I hope to be fishing multiple days this week weather permitting.
