New Minn Kota Terrova and Garmin 93SV
At the present time, I have my Garmin transducer on my 2012 Minn Kota. I have no interference issues but have seen on Youtube many having interference problems with their transducer. I am buying a new boat with 2020 Minn Kota Terrova and like to know if I have to worry about putting my 93SV on that trolling motor. I dont want the dealer to install and its having problems. My solution is just have it the transducer installed on the transom and mount the unit at the dash. Its the newest of my 3 Garmins and it has the touch screen which is convenient to use at the dash rather than at the bow. Appreciate your input and suggestions.
I forgot to mention that my 2012 is a Rip Tide Minn Kota Terrova. When I look at the 2020 RipTide compared to the 2020 Minn Kota US2, seems like big difference at the base of the motor. On the 2020 Rip Tide its the same as base as the 2012.
