VST float setting 150 FICHT

Does anyone know the float setting in the VST for a 150 FICHT 97-98 year motor. It is a 97 motor updated to 98 specs. I have 2 different books with 2 different values. One book says .003-.006 and the other says .030-.060 .

If I'm remembering correctly, there were so many changes in those motors that is was almost a weekly occurance, and that made the service manual specs obsolete.

The latest adjustment was to use a 5/16" drill bit under the toe of the float to get a lower setting than was originally printed to keep from spilling excess fuel into the vent line and making the engine rev up on its own.
