    Smelt Fishing

I was just wondering if there is anyone from Maine that knows any information about smelt fishing areas in the Pine Tree State.
I went smelt fishing a while back BUT forget the name of the place, must be my old age.
So if there is anyone with any info (phone number and location) I would appreciate it.

    Thank You, Ray

    P.S. HAPPY NEW YEAR

    Hey Ray,

Last year I took my father and two uncles up to the James Eddy smelt camps and had an excellent time. The facilities arent anything nice but does it really matter when your busy catching fish? A couple of chairs, lights and a heater was all they gave us and it was all we needed. Here's the website...

I am sure there are far nicer establishments out there but this was the one we ended up at and we caught enough smelt to last us a long while. Any questions feel free to ask!

    Good Luck!
