Anyone been out on Winni recently? I am taking a co-worker out fishing on Friday and he has never been freshwater fishing. I was hoping the smallies would be on, but haven't heard anything yet. Any help is appreciated.

I would think with the weather predicted for the weekend those fish would on like crazy. I think you guys should do real well. Post back after you go with your results
I went to Newfound instead. It rained off and on the whole day Friday, but the bite was pretty good. Caught 12 keepers all 2.5 lbs or better (with 3 at 3-10, 3-11 and 3-12). Had the sun came out for even 1 hr., we probably would have had a way better day. Still, my 5 best would have totaled over 17 lbs, so I will take it.

Yeah, I thought it was going to clear for friday. We froze on cobby at the rally but the bite was great with the cloudy day. I wish it stay cloudy saturdayI would have done better.
