    2nd New England tournament.

Well I guess it will be Conn. river Hinsdale. Who would try to attend this one? I have never been there so I know nothing about the place. How is the parking? Will a permit be required? Which license will we need?
Was thinking after the northern rally, maybe late June or mid July?
    What does everyone think?

We can discuss it at the rally. A T permit is required as is a water permit. After June is over, the limit increases from 2 fish. I haven't been to Hinsdale in such a long time. I thought the ramp had parking for about 10 or 15 but there are others here who would know more. Only required to have a NH licence.

Definitely interested...you can basically count me in. Maybe stay in a hotel the night before? Maybe that way i'll be on time! Saturday is best for me, as I work 3rd shift, and have to work on Sunday nights. I wouldn't mind heading up friday afternoon, maybe have time to cruise around a bit, and check the river and adjoining areas out. Whatever, i'm just along for the ride!

there should be plenty of room to park especially if we get there early. The ramp we will be using is the "Locals" ramp, so we should be fine since we'll be launching in the morning. you're guaranteed to see some good ol New Hampshire Rednecks in the afternoon.

Ok, if we try and do this one on a Sunday would July 2nd or 9th work for people. I'll try and get hotel info if anyone is interested. Anyone know where I should check for Permit with the state of NH?
    Let's get this ball rolling

Start with fish and wildlie and ask about event permits or if there is a public access board. just tell them what you want and they will head you in the right direction.

Hey AARON I just checked the Fish and Game Site and both July 2nd, 9th, 15th, 16th, 22nd, and 23rd are taken for Ts.

Bellows falls appears to have less traffic. I only saw it mentioned a couple of times.

Re: 2nd New England tournament. (xltrod)

The 2nd there is a tournament out of Norm's, but i don't see why we can't have one from the other launch.
The 9th is probably out cause it's the NH federation and it says they're expecting 70 boats.
the 16th there's already one out of the public ramp and norm's so that's probably out. I would just assume do something sooner rather than waiting till the end of july, so if we don't want to try for the 2nd of July, maybe we should try out of barton's cove in MA. I don't want to go out of Bellows falls, cause that's a whole extra 45 min each way for the Mass guys.
    what do you all think?
