I was there a couple of years ago. Weekend is a heavy traffic time. There was an imposed weekend speed limit too but I can't remember. You will enjoy the fishing but be prepared to rock all day. The south end seemed to produce more than the North. The western side had a ski course and it was being used when I was there. The middle of the lake has a sectioned off area for skinny water. It looks really good for a topwater but I never had any luck.
The ramp is so-so. Powerloading had ruined it when I was there last. They claimed it was getting fixed in the near future but I don't know. Parking w/ trailer is first come first serve. I believe they could accomodate about 15 trucks W/ TRAILERS. Vehicles without trailers were tagged and/or towed. I met a friend at the park & ride down the road a couple of miles(east) and we rode to the ramp. Problem solved.
