    trim jerky at very slow speed

    hello i have a 1998 stratos with a 150 rude if i am just idling along the trim seems real jerky and the gauge seems very slow to read,thanks

    Chances are there is air in the system making it jerky. Trim all the way up, fill the trim unit with ATF, then run it up and down about 5 times to bleed out any air, then check the level again.

    I'm assuming that you grease the pivot points often and that it's not salt corroded or super dry causing excessive friction.

    i have greased all the pivot points i will try bleeding it again i might add this just seems to do it when under a load in the water,just sitting in my garage it seems ok,thanks
