went down to the edge of long pond today..threw a large rock..and it went through!!!!!!!!
We will have no ice very soon! Everyone sit in your boat and make motor noises like me.....soon there will be open water

I went down to the north end of Long Pond (River) to scope out the area to launch my canoe :) I also went down to the causeway between Little Quitticas and Pockshaw to make a few casts (caught nothing). But I did get to watch a bald eagle fly around and land on the ice there.

I saw someone fishing snake river on Thursday.That eagle has been around the river all week.
I think a little wind will help. It looked like 6-8 inches of slush on the water.
