It was warm enough to melt most of the ice off the lake today so I went out to test my new bait and caught a few.
I caught this poor little guy twice in about 10 to 15 min in the same spot with the same bait.
Even though I catch a lot of nice black crappie the white crappie always seem to be a lot smaller. This is actually probably one of my better whites.
This guy put up one hell of a fight on my ML and small crappie jig. He was one thick & healthy pi$$ed off chunk if he was warmed up I don't know that I would have got him in.
